Title: Receptionist
Job Type: Full-time
Description:

KRESS is seeking a Receptionist with at least two years working in an office environment on a windows-based platform; with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. As the Receptionist, you will have an integral role within KRESS by answering and screening calls, ordering supplies, helping management with various needs, and disseminating documents and mail that arrive on a regular basis via various methods.

  • Answer and screen phone calls
  • Disseminate daily mail, faxes and e-mails; incoming and outgoing
  • Greet persons entering organization and monitor access with security awareness
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization
  • Handle a multitude of complex and dynamic tasks in a very time-sensitive environment while maintaining the utmost professionalism
  • Filing, scanning, and organizing documents as needed
  • Tidy and maintain all open office areas, as well as the kitchen
  • Maintaining supplies and replenish as needed
  • Provide back-up data-entry as necessary
  • Provide support for CEO and Office Manager in helping keep their offices organized and tidy

Requirements:

  • An individual who does well under pressure with time-sensitive projects on a daily basis
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Capable of working independently, but takes direction well
  • License requirements necessitate fingerprinting and clean background/drug test

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in receptionist and administrative assistant duties also required.

Title: Criminal Research Specialist
Job Type: Full-time
Description:

KRESS is seeking a Criminal Research Specialist with at least two years working in an office environment on a windows-based platform; with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. This position will work diligently processing and researching criminal records, motor vehicle records, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. This job requires excellent verbal and written communication, time-management, research, critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and multi-tasking skills.

  • Identifies business opportunities through various mediums using SalesForce.com to develop relationships throughout the sales cycle that will result in sales presentations.
  • Sells KRESS services by effectively analyzing the needs of the prospect and then successfully leverage your knowledge of our products and our industry so as to provide a solution to the prospects needs through the sales presentation.
  • Maintains long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities to the client; and recommending profit and service improvements to the KRESS team, ensuring KRESS grows with its clients and the industry.
  • Develop and deliver technical software demos, sales presentations, proposals, and advice to prospects and clients by being able to articulate complex concepts and business solutions clearly through web demonstrations and proposals.
  • Identifies product improvements and new products by remaining current on industry trends, news, legislative changes, market activities, and competitor analysis.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies, continuing education and licensing requirements of the position and our industry.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in English, Criminal Justice or some related area is preferred, although we do consider on-the-job experience sometimes as valuable as a degree. Experience in research and court processes is definitely a plus.

Description:

KRESS is seeking a Verifications Specialist with at least two years working in an office environment on a windows based platform; preferably with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. This job requires good communication, time-management, research, organization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Provide customer service via telephone, fax, email and instant messenger; relaying status information and helping with general customer questions on a daily basis.
  • Process employment, education and licensure verifications on a daily basis.
  • Cross training in other departments to provide backup as needed

Requirements:

  • Two (+) years working in an office environment.
  • Two (+) years on a windows based platform with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Extremely accurate alpha-numeric data entry skills.
  • License requirements necessitate fingerprinting and clean background/drug test.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in English or some related area is preferred, although we do consider on-the-job experience sometimes as valuable as a degree. Experience in research, verifying employment, fact checking or editing is definitely a plus.
